Wine Class 4: Heavy-bodied Wines

Friday, November 16 2018 • 1:30 AM - 3:30 AM

College Hall

The members of the Philomathean Society of the University of Pennsylvania invite you to join us in our Fall 2018 Wine Tasting Course, led by Mr. Ron Marsilio, a sommelier with over three decades of experience in the food and wine business. We recommend attending as many classes as you can since they all cover different topics and different kinds of wine. This course specifically covers heavy-bodied wines, the role of Malolactic Fermentation and tannin, oak treatment and Batonnage, tasting, and food pairing. This class will only give you partial understanding about a specific class of wine so check out these 4 other classes about these 4 other topics - attend as many as you can!
